These times are flexible based on how powerful you microwave is. Mine's a 1600 watt unit. I set the timer for 45 seconds and take a peep...then for increments of 10 seconds. If they come out a little runny I just zap them in a ramekin for about 15 secs. My idea of a perfect poached egg is a solid white with a loose but not runny yoke; enough yoke that you can dip your toast in.
