- Stress in itself doesn’t cause disease; it is how we react to stress that determines
illness or health. Stress weakens the immune system, allows various infections
to occur, and contributes to toxic buildup.  
Manage your daily stress without drugs:

  • Get eight hours of restful sleep each night.
  • Spend twenty minutes each day do things to relax.
  • Practice relaxation techniques - meditation, yoga, and deep breathing.  
  • Cut back on caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco.
  • Exercise more.
  • Volunteer at a service that helps other people.
